Laura was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. She attended Roosevelt High School, then went on to obtain her Bachelors of Business Administration at the University of Hawaii with a minor in German. After spending time in the hotel industry here in Hawaii and in the retail industry on the mainland, she and her husband returned to Hawaii to raise their family. She started working with Partners in Development in 2002 when its first program, Tutu and Me, was getting off the ground. When not working on PIDF business, Laura is busy with her husband and four children, school and church activities.
