This past Nov 25th, the United Church of Christ – Judd Street, located on the corner of Judd and Bachelot presented Partners In Development Foundation with a monetary donation from the proceeds of its 51st Annual Luau Fundraiser ticket sales.
Long known for the ono Hawaiian food prepared for this yearly event, it is an on-going and understandable success that has passed the half-century mark.
We are indeed fortunate that this little community church located in a quiet Nu‘uanu neighborhood, just outside of busy downtown Honolulu chose PIDF as a recipient for a portion of the proceeds.
PIDF President Jan Dill was presented with a check for over $6,600 by Wendy Mow-Taira, Vice Moderator of the church during morning services while Pastor Philip Mark, Associate Pastor Don Asman, and the attending congregation looked on.
