Tech Together at Nanakuli

 In April, Tech Together Ke Ao Nei program held classes attended by Nanakuli Elementary and Kula Kaiapuni o Nanakuli Immersion School sixth graders.  Two weeks of fun-filled hands-on science taught students about energy, where we get it from, and ideas on how we can conserve it.  They also learned it is our kuleana to malama what we have and not waste anything.  Projects built by the students included rubberband airplanes, solar ovens, and solar cars.  An ‘ohana night closed the program with the sixth graders teaching their families the concepts they learned during classroom activities.
