Congratulations Ka Pa‘alana Graduates!

On Thursday, May 20, 2010, Ka Pa‘alana celebrated its second preschool commencement at the Kalaeloa District Park.  Ka Pa‘alana wants to congratulate all of the 43 graduates and their caregivers for all of their hard work and effort that they put into making this year a success! 

Ka Pa‘alana assisted these families in their preparation for formal learning through our Family Child Participatory Education Program.  There were over 150 families from all of the Ka Pa‘alana programs that include the: Onemalu, Onelau‘ena, Mā‘ili Land, ‘Ohana Ola and Wai‘anae Civic Center Shelters as well as the participants from the Kaupuni Hawaiian Homelands, Zablan and Kea‘au Beach Parks.



It was a festive time with children jumpers, a petting zoo, Bungie the Clown, preschool centers, food and a lot of fellowship.  Make your plans to join us next year!
