INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR POSITION

PRIDE Trainer

Program: Hui Ho‘omalu
Location: East Hawaii, West Hawaii, Maui, Kauai, Molokai, O‘ahu, and Lanai

Primary Responsibility:
The PRIDE Trainer, as an independent subcontractor, will organize and conduct PRIDE trainings, adhering to the PRIDE curriculum and standards/guidelines of the Department of Human Services (DHS). The PRIDE Trainer actively participates and fosters collaborative relationships impacting the recruitment, assessment, and ongoing support and retention phases of the licensing process. Paid on a Fee-for-Service basis.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related Human Services field plus over two (2) years experience in foster care/adoptions, the Child Welfare System, or the provision of direct services to families and children in human services.
• Certification as a PRIDE trainer is required.
