Lead Teacher
Department: Tūtū and Me (Kona)
Reports to: Site Manager
Primary Responsibility:
The Lead Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing the Tutu and Me curriculum for caregivers and keiki.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Planning and implementing program curriculum for caregivers and keiki.
- Responsible for overseeing teaching assistants and for all reports as required by management.
- Assure that a quality program is being delivered by working with the assessment specialist to ensure that the needs of caregivers and keiki are met.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
- Three to five years of experience in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Experience working with a diversity of cultural backgrounds.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with people.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. on a daily basis.
- Free of any criminal or traffic convictions.
