John P. Keppeler, II
Program Director
Jack Keppeler was born and raised in Honolulu. He received a Bachelor of Science in General Agriculture (with Minors in Soils Science & Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering & Business Administration) from Oregon State University. He has held management positions for sugarcane plantation companies on Hawai‘i, Maui, O‘ahu, and Kaua‘i. Jack also managed at the municipal and state levels of local government as the Managing Director of Hawai‘i County and as the Deputy Director of the State of Hawai‘i Department of Land and Natural Resources. He has served as Program Director for Baibala Hemolele since its inception in 2002, and has also been involved with many other Partners in Development Foundation programs, including Ka Hana No‘eau, Kōkua ‘Ohana, and Tūtū and Me.
