Kohala County Fair – Hawi

On October 6, 2007 under the Big Banyan Tree in North Kohala a wonderful, festive event took place. The weather was sunny with the brisk trade winds that Kohala is known for. Live music, a silent auction, special keiki activities and over 80 booths were set up with food and crafts from the very talented people of Kohala. Hui Ho‘omalu joined in this community event to provide education and raise awareness on the need for foster/resource families. Kohala is a small yet unique community that shows much aloha and spirit for the people of Hawaii. Mahalo to the people of Kohala for their love and support for Hawai‘i’s keiki.
