Michael is 36 years old and was born and raised in North Kohala, and has lived in Halaula all his life.He graduated from Kohala High in 1991 and is a certified ATV instructor by the ATV Safety Institute. he currently works full time on the Mauna Kea golf course as an equipment operator. he also has worked at Kahua Ranch as a tour guide along with being a shop assistant. he has accumulated lots of knowledge by doing hands on work with ATV's and other machinery.
On a personal note he has been married for 9 years and has a wonderful son "MJ" who is 4 years old.
