The Hawai‘i Baptist Academy collected and donated over 1 ton of food to Ka Pa`alana. Pastor Robert Lockridge, the Christian Activity Director, remarked that this was the the most food ever collected for their annual Thanksgiving can good drive.
Students were directed to donate canned meats and vegetables, saimin and rice. Several students expressed interest in distributing the canned goods and will accompany Ka Pa‘alana staff in future outreach outings.
