Ka Pa‘alana ‘Ohana Experience Science and Hawaiian Culture at the Bishop Museum

Ka Pa‘alana ‘Ohana who reside at the Wai‘anae Civic Shelter had the opportunity to experience Science and Hawaiian Culture through parent and child interactive activities at the Bishop Museum on December 11, 2007. Caregivers and their Keiki played makahiki games on the lawn, explored the activities in the Science and Adventure Center and Parents learned of the stars in ‘tonight’s sky’ through a learning experience at the planetarium This was the first field trip since the beginning of preschool in early May and by the positive responses of both keiki and parent, this won’t be the last.
