Cathy Javor
Co-Director
Cathy Javor is a resident of the Waimanalo community and was a teacher with the Kamehameha Schools Traveling Preschool Project in Waimanalo from 1991-1996. She has a Bachelor's Degree in English and a Master's Degree in Organizational Management.
The intimacy of the program, due to its relatively small staff and large mission, means that there is no bright-line distinction between administrative and operational duties. Project co-directors are involved full-time in all aspects of the program, including home visits, counseling, staff training in the unique Nā Pono No Nā ‘Ohana family education method, conducting Family Education workshops, as well as overseeing and directly participating in all aspects of day to day operations.
